Courtney + Charly, Engaged

Thu Feb 16, 4:22 AM

Courtney called me a couple days before we were to meet to take engagement pictures to see if we could get together one day earlier to avoid the snowstorm in the forecast. I love the snow. But, no doubt, I understand that when you’ve got a cute dress picked out, you want to wear it! So, we met early Saturday afternoon in Morrison. About 1 minute after Steve and I started snapping pictures, mother nature started showing us who’s boss. It couldn’t have been more perfect. We got some fun pictures in dressy clothes before the snow really started to dump. And, when it did, Courtney and Charly embraced it. The temperature dropped and Steve, Charly, Courtney and I freezed our butts off, laughed and took in the winter wonderland that overtook Bear Creek Canyon and Evergreen Lake. The best and really, the only way I take engagement pictures is by tagging along on a fun date. And this is what Steve and I did with Courtney and Charly. They even went ice skating on Evergreen Lake in a total white out, which was AWESOME! It was Courtney’s first time ever on ice skates, but you would have never guessed it. She took off like a champ. Charly, a professional NFL football player, transferred his skills rather seamlessly, as well. :) Thanks, you two. Steve and I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you. And, I really enjoyed editing these pictures. Your smiles brought me smiles. We can’t wait for your wedding!
